What to expect at your Fraxel appointment?

Your provider will first have a consultation with you and determine the best treatment options to meet your aesthetic goals. They will apply numbing cream on the area to make the treatment more comfortable for you. After about 30-45 minutes of numbing, your provider will begin the treatment!

Does the Fraxel treatment hurt?

Most patients say the treatment feels like an increased heat and prickly sensation. The topical numbing cream helps make the treatment more comfortable. We also offer Pronox (similar to laughing gas) to help calm nerves and decrease discomfort.

What to expect after my Fraxel treatment/what are some aftercare instructions?

After your Fraxel treatment, you will experience redness and swelling of the skin. After a few days, you may notice slight peeling and flaking of the skin which is completely normal. Always wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher and avoid direct sun exposure for 3 months after your treatment.
