Whether you have an upcoming wedding, graduation, or special event, we’ve put together the perfect timeline for you to get ready for the big day!
Here’s an event prep timeline to help plan your aesthetic procedures in time for the next big event in your life:
6 Months:
If you’re not already on a medical grade skin care regimen, we highly recommend you start at least 6 months before your big event for the products to really start going to work. Whether you have dark spots, fine lines, or acne that you’d like to correct, we carry a wide variety of different medical grade skin care products to fit your needs. Unsure of which products to get? Don’t worry! You can schedule a free consultation with one of our skin care experts and they can provide you with an individualized skin care regimen!
4 Months:
If you’re looking for an overall skin rejuvenation, you should start getting laser treatments 4 months before your event. This allows proper time for your skin to heal before your big day and allows time for collagen to start regenerating. Laser treatments include the Photofacial (targets dark spots and sun damage), Scarlet RF(tightens skin, reduces pore size, helps with acne scars), Ultherapy (tightens and lifts skin), Fraxel (resurfacing laser that helps with skin texture and tone), and more! Scheduling a laser treatment 4 months before will have your skin gorgeous and glowing!
3 Months:
Struggling with some stubborn fat that just won’t go away? The CoolSculpting Elite treatment gets rid of unwanted fat by freezing the fat cells. We recommend scheduling your CoolSculpting Elite appointment 3 months before so that you’ll have full results by the time you need to wear that special dress or show off your new bikini.
4-6 Weeks:
If you’re interested in getting fillers, such as Juvederm Restylane, or any other dermal fillers, we recommend scheduling your filler appointment about 4-6 weeks before your big event. This ensures that any swelling or bruising you may experience will be gone before your event. It also gives you time to schedule any touch-ups you may want to add a few weeks before. You do NOT want to schedule fillers less than 10 days before your event in case of bruising.
We also recommend scheduling your neurotoxin appointments 4-6 weeks before your event as well. This allows time for the Botox, Dysport or Xeomin to fully kick in and for you to add-on any more units if needed.
2 Weeks:
If you need any final filler or neurotoxin touch-ups, we recommend scheduling your appointment 2 weeks before your event. This allows for adequate time for the neurotoxin to fully kick in and for any swelling or bruising from the filler to go away.
You can also schedule laser facials such as Genesis, SmoothBeam or Black Diamond 2 weeks before to get rid of any impurities in the skin, close enlarged pores, and give your skin an overall even texture and tone.
2-3 Days:
Are you wanting a radiant glow for your event? We highly recommend scheduling a HydraFacial 2-3 days before. This invigorating treatment cleanses, exfoliates, and hydrates your skin, leaving you glowing! It will help make-up glide on evenly for the big day. Just make sure you consult with your provider about the active ingredients that are used during Hydrafacials to make sure you do not have any allergies.
Please note that this timeline is just a general idea. We recommend scheduling a FREE consultation with one of our providers so they can provide you with an individualized treatment plan to meet your aesthetic goals! Click here to schedule your consultation today.
